pyrotech
I created a .avi file to use in Pixel Editor. It seems to work fine, except for one thing. The movie is slower than if I were to just open it in a video player. I'm guessing this has to do with the frame rate of the video clip, but I'm not sure. Here is what I am trying to accomplish.... I created a .avi file for my matrix. I created a brand new "musical sequence" in SE using the .avi file as the media file.I then imported that into PE.In PE, I select the block of time in which I want the effect to play. I choose "movie" and hit OK. Like I said, the entire movie plays back just fine on my matrix, but it is out of sync with the audio (considerably). Ultimately, the video moves much slower than the audio. Any ideas for me? Thanks,Tim
MattBrown
The AVI file needs to be 20 frames per second. Matt
pyrotech
Thanks Matt. Can you suggest any tools to convert my .avi file? I actually have the full Adobe Premiere suite and 20fps is not an option. I can encode 15fps or 23.97fps. Thanks,Tim
MattBrown
Virtualdub is free and does a very good job with AVI files. I recommend the all-in-one version (AIO) because it includes extra codecs and filters. You can find it here: http://www.videohelp.com/software/Virtualdub-AIO More info about Virtualdub is here: http://www.videohelp.com/software/virtualdub Matt
