plasmadrive
I worked for the last week setting up all my props that are to be driven from the LOR network. I finally got all 16 controllers plugged in and the network cables run. I start up the laptop and the HU and search for the controllers.. For some reason it only found 5 of the 16 controllers. Tried again.. no joy.. So I started down the line... one at a time plugging in the laptop and looking at the controller to see what it's firmware version was and why I couldn't see all 16 controllers. I worked my way to the 5th one in the string and found that one of the network cables had not been plugged in. What the @$$#%#$ As for the flaw.... For some crazy reason the LOR network requires you to have ALL the cables plugged in to find all the controllers.. What kind of messed up network it that???? DOH! LORisAwesome
Don't even get me started about having to make sure that the light strings are plugged into the controllers. lol
a31ford
Plasma.. you could always use a cell tower triangulation schema, this way cables would NOT be needed, heck... you could even do the power to the controllers this way also eliminating the need for heavy, costly supply cables........ LOR Staff
But you know, it doesn't work that way in (insert name of hardware/software here), so it HAS TO BE LORs PROBLEM!
