Belardo Lights on local San Diego TV and CNN

Well, my son is beaming with pride (and me too)! A local TV station in San Diego, KUSI, came out and did a story on us a few days ago...They were under a pretty tight time constraint and got it on the air only 90 minutes after they were here on the 10pm news, and then they added some more footage to it later for additional broadcasts...Here's an early version...

Today, a friend of mine called me to let me know that evidently KUSI submitted a special version of the story without our address up to CNN's website. Here's a link to that...

I'm recording CNN news right now to see if they'll air the story....

It's just been a great year, and I'd like to publicly thank all the folks on the LOR and PC boards for inspiration, ideas, and a boatload of fun this year. Lots of hard work, for sure, but seeing the look on my son's face around the display is just priceless.....And we've really spent a lot of time outside this year talking to visitors. That has also been extremely fun and rewarding...

Looking forward to 2008....

Randy and Brandon

Brandon,

Nothing but applause from me!! You and your father should be very proud of your efforts. I loved your display, the videos were great and the tree of words was just a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing Your videos and your Chritmas Spirit with me and my family.

During the Christmas Season things get a bit hectic and I miss some of the good things posted here.

A great job and great story. This is a video to see!

Thanks for being a LOR customer.

Randy,

That is absolutely beautiful! Glad to hear you have something to share with your son. I can NOT wait until my son can program and help. He's already been a big help so far this year. It's only going to get better and better.

BTW- I'm glad I'm not the only one with strands and strands of extension cords crossing my yard.

Excellent display as well!!!

Thanks, everyone...We're building, learning, and having a good time...I have some videos posted on our website, with more to come:

Also, we do a guestbook by our mailbox that people can sign when they come to visit the display. There's some pretty awesome (and emotional) things that people put in there...

If you're in the area, please stop by. We'd love to talk "shop" with you...

Thanks, Randy
