PE not playing all effects

I have set up connected on my bench Star Flakes 1, 2 and 3 and put them in the PE.  I made an effect for testing and I dropped it in the time line for all 3 and go to play.  For some reason only 2 and 3 play.  If I click on the effect in the time line of 1 it plays so I know stuff must be pointed in the right direction.. but it won't play when the song plays..  I tried saving it and then playing it.. no change.  

 

Any thoughts?

 

Edit:  The effect even shows up in the preview window.. just doesn't output to the real world.

Well, since nobody wanted to chime in, I deleted the model and remade it.  Now it works..
