jrock_at_rons Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 After setting up and tearing down last winter, I was wondering if anyone else has had issues getting the network cables in and out of the 16 channels boxes? I was thinking of adding "permanent" male/female patch cables so I wouldn't need to thread the network cable into and out of the box every year (just plug it it on the exterior like the power dongles). Has any else done this before? If so, is there a place to get cheap male/female patch cables? I was thinking of adding two of these to each controller. But at ~$13 each box, it can get pricey pretty fast. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QV0K2DI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3CWT4IDI4MVWV&coliid=I3L5DW6AE5Z4Q5&psc=1Thanks.
bisquit476 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Why not use these, I have 2 on each of my controller boxes, you can then just plug and unplug your cat5 cables each year. http://store.lightorama.com/rjwada.html There is more talk about them here. http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/35694-dangles-using/#entry328917 1

Brilliant. I'll order them when I get my RGB flood extensions. Thanks bisquit. To LOR, any chance you could offer these as an option when purchasing the controllers (like the cat5 cables offered now)?
