George Simmons Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) Update/Correction: The tracking info I received from FedEx (on Wednesday) showed that a label had been generated and the order was due to ship the previous day (Tuesday) and be delivered tomorrow (Friday). As of 5 minutes ago, FedEx still had not received the package, so it looks like delivery isn't going to occur tomorrow at all. I hate to say this because I've been a pretty loyal supporter of MITS. But here it is practically August and while almost everyone I know has long ago received their pre-sale lights from their vendor(s) of choice I'm once again waiting for mine from MITS and once again wondering whether they'll actually get here in time for me to use them as I planned back in January. I think they concentrate on the fireworks business this time of the year. I will need to fine a new vendor for next year... Luckily for me they are only 3 hours away and i just drove by his house and picked up my order directly. Seems to be a pretty constant issues. It's clear, however, that fireworks is his main concern and lights are an afterthought. I'm glad I'm about at the end of my buying days for single-color light strings.
