Hi--

Hoping someone can answer this question.  I have a few E-682 controllers and just received a new batch of ws2811 bullet and square pixels. Setup the config on the E-682 and everything tests out fine. I can test each color all 16 strings full on for each of the test patterns.

Now open pixel editor, manage previews, add new props that correspond to each output of the E-682.

So I have a 12 ribbon 50 ct node tree and 4- 100ct "pixel trees" on the first E-682- I go in, define each one "RGB", shape as "lines- unconnected", # of segments "1", Exact number of RGB nodes 50, starting location bottom....

Under Channel I select: DMX, Max Channel 510

1st "Ribbon" String: Univ 1 Start Channel 1 End Channel 150

2nd "Ribbon" String: Univ 1 Start Channel 151 End Channel 300

3rd "Ribbon" String: Univ 1 Start Channel 301 End Channel 450

4th "Ribbon" String: Univ 1 Start Channel 451 End Channel 510 Carry Over 90.

5th "Ribbon" String: Univ 2 Start Channel 91 End Channel 240

so on and so forth to my last "Ribbon" on the tree which is Univ 4 Start Channel 121 End Channel 270

Now onto the pixel trees:

Pixel Tree 1 Univ 4 Start Channel 271 End Channel 510 Carry Over 60

Pixel Tree 2 Univ 5 Start Channel 61 End Channel 360

Pixel Tree 3 Univ 5 Start Channel 361 End Channel 510 Carry Over 150

Pixel Tree 4 Univ 6 Start Channel 151 End Channel 450.

Click Save, "Save Again" and then Ok

So for testing purposes I now see all 12 ribbons and the 4 pixel trees in the left column under props in the editor window at the bottom.

So I grab Effect Generator- Click on Ribbon 1 and have "red" checked under colorwash effect for example on the left side.

I see Ribbon 1 come on full Red- Check good!

Click Ribbon 2- see that come on full Red- Also Check good!

Click Ribbon 3- see that come on full Red- Also Good!

Click Ribbon 4- Here is where the problem starts:  only 20 of the 50 pixels in the ribbon are coming on... but remember they all tested fine in the E-682 config page test...

Click on Ribbon 5 & 6 respectively-- NEITHER of them come on at all- but the first 20 pixels of ribbon 4 are staying on..

Click on Ribbon 7- the last 30 pixels in that ribbon come on..and also the first 20 pixels of ribbon 4 are still on...

Click on Ribbon 8- the last 30 of ribbon 7 go off, ribbon 4 first 20 still on

Ribbon 9, 10, 11- all test fine

Ribbon 12 works fine but also keeps on first 20 of ribbon 11 and first 20 of ribbon 4 on.

I have no idea if this is a bug or not- I have been wracking my brain all night to try and figure out. It's more difficult since everything tested out on the E682 page so I know its nothing with the ribbons or the control board (at least that's what I think).

I'm not sure if it's a conflict with any addressing but essentially half of string 4 which is on port 1-4 of the controller string 5 on port 2-1 string 6 on port 2-2 and half of string 7 on port 2-3 dont want to play nice with the pixel editor.....

Sorry for the long post but hopefully it's clear and someone will be able to help.

I tried replicating your issue with my E682, but everything worked for me...

Have you defined your 6 universes in the LOR Network Configuration tool? Are you sure there are no overlapping channel assignments in your PE prop definitions? Are you sending unicast or multicast packets? Based on the description above, I assume the "Individual Start Channels" and "Separate Universe #" checkboxes are both unchecked?

Lastly, defining your props as lines-unconnected is fine for testing. However, when it comes to sequencing, you will want to define them as one of the tree-xxx shapes. The effects will work much better that way.

Thank you Matt- went back in and checked LOR Configuration- I had universe 2 set as the IP for the 2nd E-682. Thanks so much for being another set of eyes. Everything worked great this morning!!!

Awesome job on the Pixel Editor by the way- it's pretty cool and easy to use.
