Gina Burns
This is my first year but this is such an elementary question! I am trying to add my closing voiceover in the shut down part of the show editor but it is not playing it at the end of the show...what am I doing wrong? I saved it as lms and las (musical and animation) in the animation there is no sound....in the musical there is no sound....!?
cmoore60
Gina,What version of the software are you using? If using the LORII Gamma make sure you upgrade to I believe it is 2.0.12.Chuck
Gina Burns
Hey Chuck....I am not using LOR II this year! I will fight that beast during the year next year....I am using the LOR I
DavBro
Is the audio for the rest of your show fine? If so, I would suspect the audio file itself. Is it in the correct folder (so that LOR can find it)? Is it a supported format (MP3, WAV)? If no audio is working, could your computer's sound be muted? Basic stuff, but you'd be surprised how many of us have been stuck on little things.Good luck.
Gina Burns
I know what you mean! The file is a mp3 and I have it saved as a musical and animation. The problem though is when I go to listen at the end of the night.....in my show editor I have my son ending my show but it is never played.....I opened up the sequence editor to make sure that the file was working and it is working fine.....so I don't know
cmoore60
Gina,The reason I asked what verison of software. There was a discussion of this very topic on LORII. Seems that somehow the functionality of playing a audio file in the startup and shutdown was not supported. That has since been fixed in the recent release of 2.0.12.What version of 1.x software are you running? If you have upgraded to the 1.6.15 (I think is the most recent) there has been some issue with it not installing properly and updating needed files.Chuck
kellyhaglund
Maybe your show is 2 minutes too short?
