shfr26
For the last few years I have used the same cords for my mega tree. This year I want to move them to a different display element. Since I have the controllers recognized in the HU and the cords have been recognized as going to that controller, do I have to still use them for the mega tree and buy new ones or do I have to plug them into the new display and then run the HU again so they are seen as the new element and not the mega tree? Thanks in advance.

George Simmons
I think you need to buy/make new cords. Re-assigning them in the HU is certainly doable but it can be such a pain in the ask that it's probably simpler and quicker to just replace them and be done with it. Don
For the new folks around here, just ignore this thread. These gentlemen are out to pull your leg and play a joke on people. Please don't assume this is correct information. You don't assign cords to anything via software.

And by the way, ignore Don 's post, he has no sense of humor I knew the cords did not matter but figured I would start a haha thread. If you thought I did not know that, well I have done this for a few years and was just tryng to have a little fun, but as usual, Big daddy Don has to step in and take all the fun out of it.
