Clee Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 I've used Shrink DVD to import the part of video I want and when it is saved in its folder it states it is an MPEG file. Now when I go to put in media on LOR II and ask it to look for mpeg it will not pull it up. I have tried to open it with windows movie maker and it states it is a .vob file and can't open it up. medman2000 Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 I'm pretty sure you need additional software to save it as an AVI or WMV file. I've used Adobe Premiere Elements software to save as AVI, and also DVD ripper platinum software. The few free programs I've tried added watermarks or other limitations, so with time limiting I just purchased the DVD ripper software for $40 and it worked great.
