Ron Boyd
Brian, Is there a way to export more than one intensity file from Superstar into a sequence and it work? I sequence two different pixel trees separately and then the rest of my display after those two are complete. So I have a 1) 12 x 50 pixel tree, 2) 16 x 50 pixel tree and then 3) all pixels. All three are different visualizers imported into Superstar, sequenced and then copied and pasted into the Sequence Editor. With the new update to the Pixel Editor, I am unable to convert sequences like I was doing. Since I do all of my sequencing in Superstar, if it's possible, I could export the 3 into a sequence and totally bypass the Pixel Editor. Thanks,Ron
BrianBruderer
Currently the Sequence Editor will play only 1 "intensity data" file from SuperStar. There are plans to change it so that the Sequence Editor will play multiple "intensity data" files from SuperStar or there will be a utility that will combine multiple "intensity data" files into one file. When you say "With the new update to the Pixel Editor, I am unable to convert sequences like I was doing" do you mean that in previous updates you were using the Pixel Editor to convert sequences? If so, how were you doing that?
Ron Boyd
http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/35816-s4-with-pixels-and-music-without-superstar/?p=329888 In this thread, I created a video on how I was converting a lms file to a lms file with Intensity data. When I downloaded the new update, it omitted a prop or two to where the entire sequence would not play. Before, the Bethlehem/Holdman star in the center of my display was converting over to the intensity files in the Pixel Editor. Now, it will not import into the pixel editor and that element will also not export to the new lms file. I hope I explained that properly. I guess I could just add the effects in after the export. A bit more work involved though. Hopefully the new update or the combining utility will take care of my problem. As of now, I will continue on as normal, but not convert anymore sequences. Edit: I found out that the "Traditional" setting was changed to "Sequence Editor" setting. Same setting but a different name. Once this was changed for the element that was not exporting, it did as expected, "Not export, but play in the Sequence Editor". That said, I am able to export my sequences done prior to S4, into an Intensity file. Edited May 8, 2015 by Ron Boyd
