Paul L Johnson
Last night we had tornados in Central Oklahoma and my girl friend thought I was inconsiderate because I took my controllers to the shelter before I carried out the bottled water. I figured we would have plenty of water from the rain. Was I right or wrong..... should I have taken care of her and her needs before the controllers? Keep in mind that I can replace her for free. and it would cost $1300 for new controllers and stuff. Edited May 7, 2015 by Paul L Johnson
George Simmons
Did the controllers make it through the storms okay?
DevMike
Water infiltration is the number one physical killer of controllers. Humans are pretty water resistant. I'd say you made the RIGHT call

Dcroc
My controllers start to do odd things when it rains even a little bit. I always check them in a storm, and then move on to checking the family.

Paul L Johnson
Controllers and show director came out just fine. The girl friend when home after the storm and still has not called me. Darryl Lambert you wife can come any time..... as long as she brings her own controllers. LoL Perhaps I need to get a safe and bolt it to the floor to protect my LOR equipment. I store the LOR in my attic, but you make some very good points. May have to rethink this.

razrbkchristmas
Last Halloween I was very nervous about leaving my controllers outside all night. If something had happened to them I would have been devastated! Did anyone else have these feelings their first year?

Plumber Plays with Lights
Last Halloween I was very nervous about leaving my controllers outside all night. If something had happened to them I would have been devastated! Did anyone else have these feelings their first year? I spent hours on every Friday and Saturday night setting up my Halloween show and breaking it down so I would not have to worry about my controller.
