WOW! New Visualizer Rocks!

For the first time since I started using all RGB, I just got to watch one of my sequences in it's entirety, with all elements going. No lag at all, everything worked as expected.

Thank you LOR and the Visualizer team. Now, it's an awesome product. It was great when I was under 1000 channels, but now, I'm in the 10 to 15K range and it ran flawlessly.

One happy customer here.

Now if I can just figure out the Pixel Editor, I'll be golden.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I ran a lms file too. This was one of the sequences I have done for the year.

Here is something I threw together quickly from one of Dave's sequences.

This is 18,500 channels all using pixel wizard or the other prop wizards.

Here is a link to the visualizer file itself.

Wish I could get the Viz to work.  Waiting on someone to tell me the simple thing I forgot to do to make it work.  Worked fine with S3 viz, now S4 viz does nothing, blank black screen.

Thanks!  That is another interesting Diag.  According to it, you are running an HD3000, which is an integrated graphics card for a laptop, released around 2010. What you have is run-of-the-mill graphics.  Typically, performance on built-in graphics cards is not the greatest, however that is what 90% of the people out there are going to have.  This is one of the bench marks I needed.

You do have a pretty good processor in that i7-2670QM.  It's a 4 core 8 thread 2.2 turbo to 3.1.

So, this tells me that even built in graphics cards should be able to handle the new Vis for many thousands of channels.  While the Visualizer was never CPU bound, your fast processor is probably helping the down-and-dirty back end stuff.

If you too could run a DXDiag for me, that would be GREAT.  Instructions are in my earlier post to Ron.

I agree with everyone the new visualizer rocks. Little over 32,000 channels in it and no pause this year. I even have my roof matrix programmed in it and its 4050 pixels looking great. WOW.... I can't wait to see the final results once every pixel is moved to the PE this weekend.

Yeah I got to agree it's running smooth as can be and this is beta...should be awesome as final product. At 2500x1875, running great!

First sequence using intensity files from Superstar export into a lms file. There's a bit of lag, but it's the software used with my PC.

No the lag is from the software used to do the screen capture. That plus the sequence editor and visualizer kind of taxes the video card in the laptop I'm using.

New PC is coming in a month or so. Just haven't researched them yet. I may even build one myself.
