jimswinder
I think Coroplastic would be easier for making singing Christmas Trees...that's what I have used...
Old Sarge
Looks cool... I could see adding some frame work for the eyes and mouth parts on all except the Candy cane and the tree with the candle in it....those may be hard to do to get to look right with the way the candle is on the one and the general shape of the candy cane being so narrow. It would be something to pass some time playing with just to see what can be came up with.

EmmienLightFan
I think Coroplastic would be easier for making singing Christmas Trees...that's what I have used... Such a cheesy intro... Has anybody used MDF or wood to make one? I have a "test" matrix made of MDF and it was kind of similar to making it with Coro.I am going to make my finished matrix out of plastic, and maybe when I do singing faces (Planning for 2016) i can use that as well. Also, are those trees pre lit? They look really really good. Unfortunatly, I have never seen anything like that in this country apart from large street decorations which go on lampposts and cost loads. jimswinder
Cheesy??? Lol...I'll take that as a compliment! Are trees prelit?? What do you mean by that? The green lights of the tree outline are on a separate LOR channel.

Only bad thing is drilling all those holes - hands get sore fast.
Denny
the tall ones are eight feet tall the short ones are six feet tall I plan to light the stars on top but did not buy connecters when I bought rope light,I solder wire to small, brass nails and stick the nails into the rope light that I want to join. Then, I coat the ends of the rope light with liquid electrical tape, making sure the heads of the nails are completely covered. Works like a champ - and cheaper than buying so many connectors.
