Buckeyelights
The agenda, the topics for discussion and presentations are coming together very well. We have a very informative group of speakers who have kindly agreed to share their wisdom & a little humor with the decorating community. Most of you are probably familiar with TBDBITL, The Ohio State University Marching Band, known as The Best Damn Band in the Land; well Light Up Ohio is pleased to announce that TBDTITL, The Best Damn Transmitter in the Land will be present. That's right there will be a discussion about FM transmitters and that whole facet of our hobby. David Jones, DIY expert, will have several examples of transmitters on display as part of the talk. Both pre-packaged and DIY builds from kits. If you are planning to attend, and have an FM transmit rig (transmitter and/or antenna) you'd like to showoff, please let us know so it can include it in the extravaganza. And, for those of you that have seen David speak at prior events, you already know that he'll be giving away a surprise 'something' to a lucky attendee! This session promises to be fascinating and informative. Check back frequently for updates as additional presentations will be announced. Registration is open, so sign-up now. Occupancy of the lodge is limited and the marshals do enforce it. You won't want to miss out on LUO 2015 Link to comment

Buckeyelights
I might be able to atend. Do you have any info/links to any hotels in the area that people are using? Lots of options for hotels nearby, from a very nice Hilton to economy lodging. Search for hotels in, around zip code 43240, you'll find quite a variety to pick from. Hope you decide to attend. The best thing about Light Up Ohio is the people you meet there. They're a fantastic group of folks. Link to comment

Buckeyelights
Session Update: XLights/Nutcracker 4.0 Have you heard that XLights/Nutcracker will be releasing 4.0? One of LUO's own, Richard Renn, is currently testing and learning 4.0 and will discuss the many new features that come along with it and some new things that may come out this year. Some of the new features at this time, you can create your own timing marks just like we do in Audacity no need to import unless you want to; you can have multiple effect layers on a model converting your existing XML files to the new fseq, converting LOR data to 4.0 and how to use the channel off set to line up your models. Right now there are releases almost daily. Sure you can spend hours on our own learning how the new 4.0 works, but why use your valuable time when you can attend Light Up Ohio and learn it there, saving you countless hours. Seating and attendance is limited so sign up now:http://lightupohio.whindo.com Link to comment
