FHELF
I PROGRAMMED ALL THE SEQUENCES AND THEY ALL RUN IN THE EDITOR AND LOADED THEM ON THE SD CARD WITH THE HARDWARE UTILITY BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. THE RED LED FLASHES WHICH SHOULD MEAN ITS WAITING FOR A COMMAND. WHEN I LOADED THE SHOW I SET IT TO RUN ON POWER UP MODE . IM ONLY RUNNING IT WITH ONE SET OF LIGHTS ON ONE CHANNEL RIGHT NOW AS IT WAS THE LAST PART OF THE DISPLAY TO GO UP THIS WEEKEND. HELP:(
dslowik
Make sure you SD card is formatted for as FAT. It can't be FAT32 or anything else.

LightORamaDan
WHen the power is on and there is not a SD card in the slot, the red "E" LED on the MP3 Director should be blinking... When you insert the card, the "E" LED should go off. Is that what happens? Also the Red Status LED on the main cotroller board should stop blinking when you insert the card. Does that happen? If you are using Show1 then set your selector on the DC-MP3 next the the reset buttonto "1". Press the reset button or power it on/off to read the new setting.Dan
FHELF
THE RED LED ON THE MP3 GOES OFF WHEN THE CARD IS INSERTED AND THE GREEN ONE COMES ON. THE RED STATUS LED ON THE BACK BOARD COMES ON STEADY ON POWER UP AND THEN IT BLINKS STEADY. I WILL TRY THE SELECTOR SWITCH ON THE MP3 BOARD TONITE BUT I BELIEVE IT IS SET AT "1"
FHELF
OK HERES WHATS GOING ON .THE MP3 SELECTOR IS SET ON "1". WHEN YOU TURN THE UNIT ON THE RED LED ON THE MP3 IS BLINKING AND THAT GOES OFF WHEN YOU INSERT THE CARD. THE LED ON THE MAIN BOARD IS ON STEADY WHEN ITS TURNED ON AND WHEN YOU INSERT THE CARD IT BLINKS STEADY. I CHECKED MY SEQUENCES AND THEY ARE SET TO CONTROL THE LIGHTS AND THE CHANNEL AND UNIT # IS RIGHT. THE FILES ON THE SD CARD APPEAR TO BE RIGHT THE ARE ALL MARKED WITH AN S1 PREFIX. WHAT SHOULD I TRY NEXT. THANKS
LightORamaDan
If it is not running by Monday we will rush out a replacement.Other than the fact it is not working... One thing that sounds odd is this: "THE LED ON THE MAIN BOARD IS ON STEADY WHEN ITS TURNED ON AND WHEN YOU INSERT THE CARD IT BLINKS STEADY." That is backwards from what should happen. FHELF
OK I WATCHED IT AGAIN AND HERES WHATS HAPPENING. POWER UP WITH NO CARD INSERTED THE RED LED ON THE MP3 IS FLASHING AND THE GREEN ONE IS ON. THE MAIN BOARD LED IS FLASHING. WHEN THE CARD IS INSERTED THE REL LED ON THE MP3 GOES OFF AND THE GREEN LED STAYS ON. THE LED ON THE MAIN BOARD STOPS FLASHING FOR ABOUT 10-15 SECS AND THEN STARTS FLASHING AGAIN. ON STARTUP WITH THE CARD IN THE MP3 THE GREEN LED ON THE MP3 IS ON AND THE LED ON THE MAIN BOARD IS ON STEADY AND STARTS FLASHING AFTER ABOUT 10-15 SECS AND THEN NOTHING HAPPENS. I DIDN'T LET IT STAY ON VERY LONG EACH TIME I WAS TESTING IT TO SEE IF IT WORKED ITSELF OUT. MAYBE ITS JUST NOT READING THE CARD??

THANKSThe control lights function only applies to the sequence editor. Why it was turned off because the hardware utility was already open. FHELF
OK THE BOX WAS BAD. BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT. I RECEIVED A NEW BOX OVERNIGHT ON WENDESDAY AND TESTED IT THAT NIGHT AND I MADE MY FINAL CONNECTIONS OUTDOORS ON SATURDAY. BESIDES SOME LAST MINUTE SOUND PROBLEMS THE SHOW RAN GREAT. THE WIND KEPT US INDOORS YESTERDAY BUT TONITE I'M GOING TO REARRANGE THE LIGHTS TO SHOW UP BETTER THAN THEY DID. I HAVE 45,000 STATIC LIGHTS UP AND THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR WITH LOR. I ADDED THE LOR LIGHTS OVER TOP OF MY OTHER LIGHTS AND DIDN'T USE ENOUGH FOR THE LOR UNIT. REPLANNED IT YESTERDAY AND WILL FINISH TONITE AND IT WILL DEFINITLY BE A LOT BRIGHTER NOW. MY THANKS TO DAN AND EVERYONE AT LOR YOUR THE BEST. HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAYFRED HELFRICHJACKSON NJ
