Where do I start, 8 seasons with just lighting. Would like to change it up.

Have been syncing lights since 1996, the time has come to beef it up. I want to outside video apx 10' screen need projector suggestions and how to handle the projector during its off hours, just leave it on or some reliable way to shut down.

2nd would like to add an animatroinc Olaf as MC. Should I expect problem with copyright issues shutting me down. Where would I start planning and building my Olaf

Reef hunter, I can't answer your questions but I can definitely point you in the right direction. Google "Lights on Display" or go to his website www.lightsondisplay.com. His name is Mike and in my humble opinion, he is the master of animatronics and he makes all of them himself. I have emailed him a few times with questions and he has been extremely helpful with information and how-to's. If you haven't seen his displays, you will be amazed. My suggestion would be to start there.

Thanks John. Another question for everyone concerning my animatronic Olaf. Has anyone out there had any problems with copyright infringement by using a character like Olaf. It seems Disney is very active with their property. Thanks

I doubt they will care about anything you create and use in your display, however, you must not be earning any money or other compensation for its use in that effort otherwise its an obvious copyright infringement. I had a lady who wanted to give me money for donation to my display as she loved it that much. As honored as I was, I politely declined therefore zero chance of any copyright issues. So this also goes for your display earning money on websites too via videos which is why posting sites like Vimeo are suddenly having lots of heartburn over.
