Santas Helper
Thought I would share an active sequence of a video recorded from under my mega tree. It was recorded about 3 feet from the front of the tower and about 2 feet off the ground using a tripod. The lights are 33' up but doesn't look like it in the video. Celtic Carol by Lindsey Stirling is the music. Anyone else have "under a mega tree" video to share? http://vid245.photobucket.com/albums/gg65/frightnight_photos/Toms%20videos/Celtic%20Carol%20Mega%20Tree_zpsjrmyc2ak.mp4 Edited January 5, 2015 by Santas Helper

Santas Helper
Thanks MP, I had many compliments on that song. It's different and to the point of the holiday in my opinion. Edited January 6, 2015 by Santas Helper
Max-Paul
I love celtic music and bagpipes. Very rarely will I turn my nose up to either. Celtic Carol I can just see some river dancing going on around a bonfire.

Al Saunders
Santa's Helper, Very cool video! I can't wait to follow your details on building a mega tree when I make mine for this year or next. I saved a thread on how you wire up your strings and plan to copy even though my mega tree will be 22' high instead of your 33 footer. Thanks for sharing and all the help you give everyone on mega trees! Later,Al
Santas Helper
Al, That 22' mega tree will be very impressive and just a few extra steps will keep that tree/strands alive for years to come. Thank you for your comment.
Santas Helper
Here is a video I shot 8 years ago with a 16" mega tree. (forgot I posted it on youtube 8 years ago) Back in my first year with LOR and first mega tree. It was only a test video.

Santas Helper
Your tree has really blossomed over the last 8 years!! Thanks Daniel, It's gotta be that Oklahoma water I tell ya. LOL From 1600 LEDs back then to over 20,000 LEDs (including star, RGB floods and tower pole lights) it's a major difference. Mike G
I really like your tree. Mine is not very tall as my yard is small. I did get in on a presale for some strobes to add. After Kim and I saw your display we knew we had to add strobes. When you have a small canvas to work with you need to make the most of it.
Santas Helper
Mike, you are absolutely right. Make the most of that canvas. And thank you. P.S. I'm adding 30 more strobes for next season. Edited January 9, 2015 by Santas Helper
