Charlie
Hi everyone who replys, I have a couple of channels that i need to be ran the whole time my show runs. Because i have fans and my FM sign on them. What i thought was i just use the animation and turn those channels on. Then insert that animation in the show editor under the background section. but when i do that it messes with the whole show. i dont know if it matters but i have turn those channels on in the musical sequence also. If im not clear on the problem let me know. Im still working out kinks in my show...its december...i need some help on this subject. Thanks,Charlie
Don
Set up an animation sequence, and configure your fans and FM in that sequence. Now, make sure you do NOT have these channels defined in the rest of your sequences.Place this animation sequence in the 'Background' section of the show editor. Charlie
When i configure my fans and fm station sign in the animation, do i not define the other channels? in other words ill only have the fans and fm station sign channels defined?ThanksCharlie

Charlie
Ok, i have went back and reconfigured my channels and created a new animation with only those two channels. Except for one of my musical seq. That works just fine. But for some reason for that one musical seq. it always changes the channels around, ex. "it will change my green trees be the guy voice and the snowman(guy voice) would be the green tree" on every channel its switching around. but the funny thing is that after that one song it goes back to normal. Im not really sure whats wrong, for now i have that seq. out of the show till i get an answer. Also its a diffrent problem. I just have a simple Lagging problem, if there is a simple problem.I am using LOR software version 1.6.3. I havent updated yet for two reasons. 1 its the big. of the light season and 2. i dont know if it would help me fix the problem, cause everything else about the show works. Thanks again,Charlie
LightORamaDan
I do not think that a upgrade will help. When you say lagging problem what exactly does that mean? As far as channels being wrong in a sequence then most likely it is a channel configuraion issue. I would triple check the configuration.
Charlie
Im Still having problems with The animation that i have set to turn the two chanels on and keep them on the whole time. The main problem now is that the animation does not start until the second musical sequence. It will stay on for the rest of the show. I have it 1 min long and a loop that takes it back to the start of the animation. What i mean by lagging problems is sometimes during the show the music will be ahead of the show. It does catch back up, so that is why i dont consider it to be a big problem unlike the Background issue im having.I just went back and redid that one musical sequence so that problem is fixed now. When you double check them, pull up each channel and check your settings. Under channel settings look at your device type, Unit and Circuit settings. One mistyped number and you would get what you have described.
