JeffF
You should have heard me. My daughter thought I was complaining to her but I was basically just yelling at the wind. The whole morning it was calm and the moment I try to dry the *bottom* of our largest inflatable the wind decides to kick up. Gotta love it!!! (It being the wind AND me being stupid!) Oh, the carnage! What was the damage to the forest? We didn't look too good yet. Once it gets a little darker out there I'll have to check. Believe it or not the trees were staked to the ground. Luckily it was warm out and the stakes just pulled right out. If they were frozen in the ground I believe the blow up would have a good sized rip in it. I don't know if you can see it but it stopped right before the arches. The reason is our strobe grid. That sucker acted like a catcher's mit and scooped it right up. Otherwise the arches were next and then the mega-tree. Lol, is that your house? If so what cameras are you using, the picture looks a little better than mine. Yep, that's me and the daughter. The cameras are from eBay. The first video was from a camera purchased 5 or 6 years ago and the second was purchased 3 or 4 years ago. I just buy CCTV cameras in the $20-$40 range when I need them. I can guarantee they are just no-name generic cameras.
Mega Arch
this is exactly why you should video only - no sound recording... plausible deniability on the actual verbiage used.. they can't play it back to you later.... just glad nobody was hurt. looked nasty at the beginning. thought this was going to end really bad. JeffF
Checked the lights that were "touched" by the merry-go-round and all were working! Close one for sure! We keep watching the video and laughing at my daughter running after the cord... too funny. Like what would she have done if she grabbed it besides be pulled to the ground? Mega Arch
Could say she did, like the 2009 Balloon Boy in Colorado. You would be famous.
