What do you know, some punk took a knife and sliced it open! They did it to my neighbors inflatable as well. I fixed it for the rest of the season with clear duct tape. I'm sure they were surprised when it was up & running after 12 hours. I'm sure they returned to finish it off. 2 days later I see a vehicle outside at 2 in the morning. I ran into the garage to throw on my shoes & grab a baseball bat! Just when Someone got out of the van & approached the snow globe my wife opened the front door & yelled at them. Hindsight being what it is. I wished she hadn't scared them off. They hadn't done anything this time so I couldn't prove nothing. I confronted them, baseball bat in hand, I let them know that I knew who they were & if so much as 1 bulb is broken I'd be looking for them. cgreenfield Posted December 16, 2014 Author Share Posted December 16, 2014 Just an update, or whatever you wanna call it.Yesterday came home and saw, on the front door, that someone left an anonymous donation of $100 and a card that reads "This is a donation to help with the damage. Don't let others spoil our Christmas Cheer!" Also on another note the HOA Admin (who actually came to see the display) sent out an email saying that there were multiple other reported cases of Vandalism in the neighborhood on Saturday night.-Chris- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
