Do you remember Tim Tebow?....(this is a cool story)

Remember Tim Tebow? Tim visited a local youth football player Deven Jackson earlier this fall and featured him and his story on "Good Morning America". I will soon have his story as part of my display in detail on my website but for now if you visit kevinkolak.com and select PRESS you will see a link for ABC 27 News. They (ABC 27) came to my display this past Monday night to do an interview with Deven and myself and feature it on the 11 o'clock news that same night. Deven lost both legs to meningitis and yet still plays youth football on borrowed "blades" for feet. We decided to help Deven get new prosthetics by giving him 100% of the proceeds we collect from our display. When that word got out ABC 27 News got wind of it and called. This past fall he was using borrowed "blades" as feet to play football but here is another cool thing for Deven.....he will be leading the Philadelphia Eagles onto the field this Sunday Night (12/14) against the Dallas Cowboys. Go to my website and view the ABC 27 news clip and then follow my website to get the details of his misfortune and more later and see what we are doing to help. The news clip states the game will be against the NY Giants but it was in error as it will be this Sunday vs Dallas.

Spread the word.....maybe a few of those Cowboy fans will mail a donation and thanks for your kind words. I've started to receive donations by mail but it will take more than Eagles fans.

5 of the 7 videos that tell of Deven's story are now on my website. The link to the Tim Tebow reference is also available for viewing. Tomorrow night Deven leads an NFL team onto the field on Sunday Night Football

I saw him on the sideline for 3 seconds.....it was a good thing I knew what to look for (his blades) otherwise I would not have seen anything.....I was hoping to see him actually run on the field but rather caught a glimpse of him being photographed by reporters.

Hope to check out your display again here when I bring a couple of my furry kids to Dr. Cook's in Loysville.

I haven't lived in Perry County since 2001 but still use him.
