oilmoney
One of the churches up here organizes a xmas light bus tour around the city every year and of course they want to see my place. last year they showed up uninvited and blocked peoples view that were waiting for the show to start. I voiced my displeasure about this to them and this year they're trying to work with me. 6 greyhound type buses want to visit my display over a period of 3 hours and in return for working with them they said that they'll all donate to the SPCA ( my cause I collect for ). I've got a permit from the city to flag off the side of the street so I can reserve a spot for the bus until it arrives. This will probably inconvenience some that come to watch the show, 240 people seeing and donating over a 3hr period one night or keep it as a free for all? It's just one night right? I don't care as much about facebook likes or youtube views, I gauge my success on smiles, compliments, and donations. Is it ok to pimp my display out one night for the sake of doing well with donations?
Meegan
I say go for it! I think it could only help with future contributions to your cause! It's admirable that you are so focused on helping your charity. Good luck with the show!!
MikeERWNC
Do it!I have had several church buses (Small) and many vans.Church goers are very generous, even if they don't live in your county. My thing is, I don't like talking religion and my wife has to nudge me to be polite to all of God's factions. I can't wait for my 76 - 350 pound virgins. dougd
I am a free for all type of guy. I know the cause is very important but in my case the lights being free for all comes before my charity.
jimswinder
Can they park somewhere close by and walk to your display?
