I took my 7 and 11 year old to our community Christmas tree lighting. Needless to say they were a little disappointed.

They started the count down and then flipped the switch. The first thing out of my 11 year olds mouth was "it needs more lights, right dad, it needs more light." Makes me proud.

I went to my town's Christmas Tree Lighting... and I felt horrible.  I hadn't helped them do anything, of course they never asked.

The tree was a great tree, but it had maybe 3 to 400 white C9's on it.  Just looked plain.  After staring at my 3,700 light 15 foot mega tree, it just didn't seem fair that the town had less lights then I did.  I may work with them next year to add some mega trees on the flanks of the town tree.  Or maybe even some RGB C9's on their tree with a simple sequence.

I was thinking the same thing.  I may see if I can help them out next year by just donating some time and a few thousand lights!! B)
