dgrant
dgrant, I hope your not sharing the music.Yes, I'm chancing the issues by giving them the edited music. Its not in the original movie format so it would be difficult for many to edit like this. I would suggest though please that anyone reading this, please purchase the music legally. seriouslylosingit
I always purchase my music or download from a public source that provides files. I like to listen to what file is associated with the sequence just so I can figure out what to look for and download. I think that this is the safe and legal way to do this, but please correct me if I am wrong..
Mike G
I always purchase my music or download from a public source that provides files. I like to listen to what file is associated with the sequence just so I can figure out what to look for and download. I think that this is the safe and legal way to do this, but please correct me if I am wrong.. Purchasing your music of course is completely legal. Downloading from a public source however may be pirated files, especially if it is from a file sharing site.

Mike G
Wondering about moviewavs.com and movie-sounds.org ????Giving a quick look at the disclaimer as long as you don't use the clips commercially you are ok. The short clips are indeed copyrighted but the disclaimer says ok for personal use.
seriouslylosingit
Mike G Thanks, this is what I thought, but always good to get a second opinion. I definitely don't want to violate any copyright laws, but with so many sites and so much legality, how do you know if you are truly "legal"? I always read the "disclaimer", but considering I am a nurse (soon to be) and not a lawyer, who knows?? Who can read this stuff anyway? Waaaaaaay above my pay grade... Thanks for your help.
