Are all SD cards compatible to show director?

Need urgent help...are all sd cards compatible with show director?  Does any one know which are and which are not? I have three cards that do not work and one that does. I need another as a backup.

Kingston works just fine - SD4/4GB  This is on the newer uMP3g3 miniDirector

I have a Lexar SD card that works great. I tried this year's show on a SanDisk. Wouldn't start by itself when timer went off. Loaded the show onto last year's Lexar card and poof - show is up and running.

The current thinking/recommendation is to avoid Sandisk SD Cards in the directors. 

 

That said, it must be something in the newer cards, or higher class of cards, that is causing the problem with Sandisk. I have quite a few Sandisk SD cards that work just fine.

I have both an old and a new MiniDirector, the older one works with Lexar (i use about 7 of them), but have found that they will NOT work with the new one. I have also found that the Kingston 4GB card that works with the new MiniDirector will also work with the old MiniDirector.
