crazyred Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Have one of the first CTB16D boards made. Channels 1-8 do not work in a sequence. Run Hardware software and I can get the channels to turn on. Confirmed power to the board and fuse is good. Could it be a firmware issue on the older board (ver 3.0) running the latest software version???
Max-Paul Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Wow this is interesting. You say that using the Hardware utility that you can control channels 1-16 for that controller. Yet when you run a sequence channels 1-8 do not operate. And I presume that you do have channels that are programmed with this unit number and channels 1-8. Very interesting. Try to do a controller reset. I cant say that this would do it. But it is quick and does not cost anything to try.
crazyred Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 Controller reset???? How do I do that???
Denny Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Remove power from the board; turn the setting dials to 0 0; power up the board for a few seconds; remove power from the board; set ID dials back to the unit ID number that you want to use; power up the board as normal.
steve synek Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I would suggest you also run the Verifier. Steve
crazyred Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 It appears to be either a bad CAT5 cable or a bad network connector on the board. Isolated the problem controller on its own cable and daisy chained the rest. Crossing my fingers
