Huge sound delay problems

I have a 1 sec delay from the computer to the speakers.

When I run the show with the laptop and speakers it's good. But when I run it thru the fm transmitter there's a delay.

I'm using the same equipment I used at Halloween. And Halloween ran fine. I have tried 2 computers with the same results. I need help quick.

Ibm think pad running xp, Macbook running win 7 and whole house transmitter. The whole house has run great until now. The broadcast is good except for the delay

Are you listening on a high end car stereo - notably one with recording capability? There was another thread a week or so ago about that exact problem with the author's new truck radio. Try it on another radio (receiver) to make sure that you know what problem you are chasing.
