jonnyci
I want to give a shout out to David at HolidayCoro for his stellar customer service. I recently purchase the Cableguard CG 1500, Meanwell Power supply mounting kit and the PixLite mounting kit. My shipment arrived within the time I was told it would, but the Power supply mount was not included. I double checked my order to make sure it wasnt something I missed. I contacted David through his website and received a response that the board would be shipped right away. Sure enough, 3 days later I received it. David could have easily ignored my request because I can only imagine how busy he this time of year. Hats off to customer service and David and his elves at HolidayCoro
Eric walls
I love their products. I'm going to get that next season, along with the coro canes. I figure it will take me a year to program them!!
sax
I am a huge fan of David and holiday coro. Lots of his products in the yard. His tutorials are very helpful too. Looking at adding some stars and canes for next year. Want some snow flakes but want around 24". Maybe smaller at 18". Might have to build some from scratch using coro. Programming is a breeze in superstar. If only making money were as quick and easy. I could have them in the yard for this year.
uncledan
Holidaycoro is the best. I can't find a single negative thing to say about them after close to a dozen purchases. Hands down the best shopping experience I've had online. Fast reply to emails, deliver product on time or ahead of schedule. I would say better than LOR if there is such a thing. I added their 16 ribbon pixel tree with pixlite16 controller this year. Basically a plug and play 16ccr tree for ~$1,000 assembled. Holiday coro is great! Highly recommended in case it wasn't clear. Ron Boyd
Yes, David and company give exemplary service after the sale. I also, can't say enough about them. Fast shipping, and service after, if needed. One of the best companies I've dealt with in recent years. I have Kudos for several of them that I have dealt with, but that's for another thread. jerrymac
I've been getting stuff from David since his first coro mini trees. His business in the yardstick all others should be measured by. Quality, Speed and Exemplary service at ALL times. Definitely a leader in products, service and technical knowledge. His tutorials and Video's are a must for anyone in this HOBBY (?). Three people stand out from the crowd as far as pushing the limits of where this is going David, Fast Eddie and Sean. Thanks to all them.
RaZZlo
I ordered my first elements from HC this year, the singing trees. They were delivered in less than a week. The tutorials and instructions on building the frames and installing the lights was perfect. I also e-mailed them last night to ask a questions and they responsed first thing this morning. Kudos to HC. I will definitely be purchasing more from them next year. (I would purchase more this year, but the Lighting fund is dry..)
Vince4xmas
Thinking about ordering coro canes and using LOR Cosmic Color Bulbs. Has anyone done this with success?
SparkDr
This is my first year with HC stuff. I went with a fully assembled 16 ribbon CCR pixel tree with some purchased sequences from their vendor partner, holidaysequences.com. This is my first foray into dmx (an array I admittedly don't know much about or fully understand) and I went this route to be as plug and play as possible. I have some mixed feelings on the experience thus far. Ordering process, shipping, and product quality and assembly are all plusses. I have yet to get anything to actually light and have found some of the videos to bounce around a little bit in their instructions, particularly the IP configuartion video. Also, the kit is advertised as coming with 5' extensions to go from the controller. In my simple mind, that means I should be able to go out 5' from the controller to the base of the ribbon attachment. In actuality, the extensions are cut in half and reassembled as tails on both the ribbon and out of the controller. In doing so, there is over a foot of lost length inside the controller on some of the leads. I used a fudge-factor in determining my spacing for the conduit jig and have 4' to the furthest conduit. Of course, the leads don't reach. As of Monday, HC's website notified customers that nothing will be shipping this week so getting additional extensions before showtime is out of the question. That leaves a guy like me with a rather small show without his most significant prop for at least the first week of the season unless I totally rework my conduit jig. Consequently, I'm not real happy. And yes, I'm sure I'm partially to blame. I'm obviously in over my head on the setup and programming, but I've literally wasted hours watching and re-watching videos trying to sort out gremlins along with exchanging a couple of emails to both HC & Advatech (the PixLite folks). In short, I'm not a last-minute Louie. I gave myself plenty of time and have been at this long enough now that i should have been up and running a week ago. I'm sure when I finally get it up and running, I'll forget all about the pain and rave about the product and experience. And I'll always have this little nugget to share for the rest of my life..."THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PLUG AND PLAY CCR'S!"
