derekb
I noticed the preload all sequences before they are played option in show editor. I have never used it and I have not experienced any delays yet, but I do have larger files this year. If everything seems fine, should I leave well enough alone and not mess with it? What do most of you do? When this is enabled does it load the sequences before the scheduled time or does it load at that time and there is a delay of the start of the show? Thanks! Liberty-Laser
I had to start using it last year. With larger sequences (DMX) there was a delay between each song(sequence) during the show. This resolved that. If you are having no delays, then don't worry about it. George Simmons
This time of year you ALWAYS leave alone that which isn't broken. Preload begins loading the sequences at the scheduled show start time. When it finishes, the first one plays. If you notice a lag, then you can either preload all or use compressed files. I use compressed files and haven't had any issues. Edited November 24, 2014 by George Simmons
