ed26105
I reworked 4 CCR strips to fit around my garage. When 100% RGB on, three strips are very white, while one has a more pink color to the white light. I know I voided the warranty, that is not the issue. Any ideas why one CCR is more pink than others? Switching from one power supply and controller to another doesn't change the problem. The connection end of the CCR is as received. My cuts and solder are further down the strip. k6ccc
Was it the same before you started cutting?
George Simmons
How old are the CCRs? A few years back - maybe the second year LOR sold them - they got a batch of ribbons that has a pinkish tinge to them at full on. I've never noticed a difference with any color but white. ed26105
The CCR's are from 2010 and 2011. Was using them on arches, but now make arches out of pixels, so thought I would use these another way. Last year the color was fine on the arches. I have only seen the difference now they are cut and soldered.
