Just starting and going 100% LED

A few months ago I bought the RGB kit

A little disappointed thought I was buying the CCRs but anyway I found a use for them

After a few tries and some online help finally got those up and running...YEA ! ! !

 

looking around I see the singing faces and love the idea....I see some using the old style lights, rope lights ect....

my question....if I use the LED ribbons could I use this DC board to control the LEDs?

So all you pros out there what ya think? worth doing or just go with the one that has 110v outlets and connect the LEDs there through a power supply

 

(I didnt want to have to buy 32 12vdc power supplies to plug into different outlets on a controller) that is my thoughts

That will work, but the CMB24D might be a better choice since it's optimized for RGB and will yield 8 RGB channels. The CMB16D will yield only 5 RGB channels.
