Darryl Lambert
R485 is here http://store.lightorama.com/uscoad.htmlEthernet wire is just cat 5 wire & the switch you refer to I'm assuming is just that an Internet switch found anywhere computer supplies are sold. ie-amazon, best buy, Walmart

Mr. P
If I am not mistaken the pixlite is E1.31 and has to be run from the ethernet port of your computer to the router and then out to the pixlite. Make sure you program the IP address for the pixlite.

uncledan
Holiday coro has many video tutorials on website as well as YouTube. All your questions can be answered like mine were with watching some how to videos. If you get in a bind h.c is great with customer support. I am just figuring out the pixlite16 myself. PM me with questions and I will see if I can help. Good luck!
