Video Files

I ran a test show tonight and things generally worked well.  I did notice significant lag on some sequences loading, all with video files.  All my files are compressed and I have the preload show set. 

 

The loading lag is much longer on some video files than others.  This is my first year with video, so I didn't pay that much attention to the files when I was copying and editing.  So, I have two video questions for you experienced folk out there. 

 

1.  What do you find to be the best video format to use with LOR?  I seem to have a "hodge podge" of formats, wmv, mp4, etc.

2.  What is a good resolution to use on the videos to expedite loading?

 

I am going to go back and convert them and reload, but don't want to waste time reinventing the wheel if I can get some pointers from the experienced "LORites."  Thanks for any advice.
