DocBrown86
I am looking at re-stringing my 6, white wire framed Deer for this season. I figured it would be best to do it in Cool White LED M5s, with white wire. In the past, I've been getting my string lights from here: http://www.christmaslightsetc.com/p/70-M5-LED-Mini-Ice--Warm-White-Prelamped-Light-Set-White-Wire-40330.htm#The reason is this: "Patented one piece construction eliminates corrosion from moisture for longer life."They eliminate that issue where a bulb goes out, and you remove it to find one or both of the bulb's contact wires rusted and/or possibly gone.Haven't had an issue with this companies lights in 3 years! But, they do not offer the Cool White in white wire. Definitely do not want to use green wire. Any suggestions on where to find a similar product that would have what I need as an option?? George Simmons
Holy Cow! Are they ever expensive. Try any of the lighting vendors listed in the vendor's section. You might just get lucky if someone has white wire in stock. But seriously - those lights you linked (even their "sale" price) has got to be one of the most expensive sets of 70 ct lights I've ever seen - anywhere! DocBrown86
They are a bit pricey, but like I said, I'm going on year #4 with 22 strands of those without ever replacing any bulbs or strands. So it seemed like it should pay for itself in the long run...Don, sadly they have the same, only warm white w/ the white wire. I seemed to have stumbled upon some for $22.50/strand. George Simmons
You mean they have replaceable bulbs at that price? Whoa - I take back what I said before. They're not just a bit pricey, they're INCREDIBLY pricey. I've been using sealed bulbs since 2008 and except for critter chews (and Trevor Froemming's junk), I've only ever had one set of lights fail. I'm saying since I have started using the sealed type, I haven't had to be up on the roof replacing bulbs! It eliminated that factor, which is worth a bit more $ then your standard non-sealed strand. BryanZ
You may try here but they are M6 rather than M5. Price may be right for you. http://www.holiday-light-express.com/M6_mini_LED_Christmas_Lights-70-white.php

Slightly concerned about quality with such a price difference, but if they are the same quality, they'll work for what I need.
