rainyoregonchristmas
So I have a Facebook page for my display and my hobby business. It's been stuck with less then 100 likes for many weeks now. This week it is driving me crazy... I like the two 9's for 99 likes which I was finally able to reach this weekend, but another half in me wants it so bad to turn to 100 and it is driving me nuts. So please someone just like my Facebook page and put me out of my misery. In exchange, I'll like your page too. Search for Rainyoregonchristmas in the search feature of facebook, you'll find it there, same as my LOR user name. -MattRainyOregonchiStmaS

worksopian
I'm glad you got to your 100, but it wasn't going to be by me.I don't Facebook as I'm afraid that would be my misery.. I used to feel the same way, but since signing up have been able to locate many old friends from my school days as well as the more remote family members. Just yesterday I was 'found' by my godfather's daughter after a 36 year absence.Don't knock it until you have tried it!!
Mega Arch
Don't knock it until you have tried it!! Wasn't meaning to sound like I was knocking you or Facebook or anyone on Facebook. Was meaning as much as I like the LOR forums, if I Facebooked, well my misery would be time. I'd never finish sequencing or building my props. Santas Helper
And i too agree.I have a Facebook account but after not getting anything done around the house, I stopped going to it. There is a plus side like people finding each other, but I just don't have time for that. Of course there are some that I don't want to re-unite with. I have two expensive hobbies (Mopar Cuda's, 2 of them. And a lightshow for Halloween and Christmas) and both uses a lot of time. Then to find time for the wife, work and sleep. Max-Paul
seems that a good number of people are forgoing FB or nuking their account. This might be a good thing.

Does this mean I should drop these forums (Aint going to happen). Every time I get on my PC, I check these forums and never get off and don't get my programming done. Santas Helper
Does this mean I should drop these forums (Aint going to happen). You need to wash your mouth out with soap saying that. I didn't say drop these forums.I said I don't have time for Facebook. SO I stopped "Facebook".Going to these forums and working on my cars is way more important. Might need to re-read my previous quote.

I was just adding to your comment saying that you were spending too much on facebook as I spend too much time on here not getting my work done. BTW, I will go eat a bar of soap
