Unable to install software on new windows 7 professional PC

Hey guys, could use some help. I recently upgraded my windows Xp computer to windows 7 professional and I cannot get the software suite to install. I have tried four different versions and neither of them will even pull up the install wizard. They start to but stop at lightorama.msi and then drop off and never show any other signs of life. I have tried 2.9.4, 3.3.0, 3.4.0, and 3.10.6 with same result. Any ideas to get around this issue would be great.

Have you tried uninstalling the LOR software completely first?

It's been a long time, but what I remember is I had to tell win 7 LOR was 32 bit.

A few random things. (Apologies if you've already done them.)

 

Make sure you are saving the downloaded file to your computer. Do not try to use the Run option when downloading.

If you are saving it to your machine, sounds like it might not be downloading all the way (or something really odd like that.)

Looks like you've already tried Run as Admin.

Look on the LOR Software Download page for the "Alternative download" link. That might work better for you.

Also, try downloading via a different browser. (Off the wall suggestion, I know.)

Thanks for the responses guys... How do I tell it to install as 32 bit?
