Show Editor question, how to play a music sequence in the background?

We are trying to setup our display to run a projector along with a LOR sequence show. The projector show is saved as an AVI file and has been uploaded to the Sequence Editor using a music sequence. We want the projector to start playing at the same time as our other LOR sequences and then continue to run the entire show. So when I go to Show Editor I can't put the projector sequence into the background (which I understand will play the entire show) because it's not an animation sequence but is a music sequence. I also tried to create 2 shows but the Show Scheduler won't allow two shows to play at the same time. So I'm now lost, is what we are wanting possible?

If I understand what you are wanting to do, and that is have a musical (in this case video) sequence running the background, then no it is not possible.

That said, someone here who understand exactly how to wire this up -  Would there be a way to trigger another computer set up with the video portion of the show?

Ok. Well a trigger would work too, if possible.

Hopefully someone can help :)

Hi Don I talked to Wow lights on this subject last year when I was trying to get thunder and lighting to work with a musical sequence running . So the only way to do it s by running your sequences on the light o rama G3-MP3 director and your video on your computer you just program the start times the same

I didn't think of that, Dennis. Good idea.

The trigger idea I was thinking of was to somehow have the video show start on a trigger. Then when the regular lights come on, they would somehow activate the trigger connected to the video show, and they would start the video.
