Extension Cable 10w RGB Floods

I recently purchased the 10w RGB Floods and I am having fun. My questions is I need to add 30' of cable to one flood and 10' of cable to another one. Currently running the LOR CMB24 with a 200w power supply and 5 - 10w floods. Does this pose a problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I bought a couple of these but the connections are a little bigger than the LOR's.  I ended up cutting the ends off and splicing the cables together.  Total of 36ft.  I also have 5 of the floods with the 10ft extentions.

 

I too, am running the 200 watt power supply from LOR and everything is working fine.  I do not get any color fading and the 36ft length is the same color white as the others.  Hope this helps.

You could add 4 core 18 gauge alarm wire to the pigtail end, shrink tube it and go that far pretty easy.  If I was going more than 26' from the controller I would likely go that way.  with my order I got a trio of the 10' extensions because I like really nice and clean connections.

I have been using Cat5 cable with no issues.  I do prefer the stranded type versus the solid core for flexibility.
