Madcam Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 4 1602 boxes2nd year with installing today lights and one channel on box 3 was constant on. Even when computer was off. Reboot, more problems, boxes not found.NO LED on 1&2 All channels on 1&2 are on even with no computer connected. box 3 and 4 blinking( as to be expected. USB485 look and smells bad. Do we think the controllers are toast too. Madcam Posted November 24, 2007 Author Share Posted November 24, 2007 I'm not sure what came first. I was checking cables,connections ect. Thought the computer was "asleep" but it was off. Rebooted and found (by smell) the bad connector. Yellow wire inside the usb485 looks bad. So the short answer is I don't know which way the problem went.
