Don
The The RGB ribbon pack is different than the Cosmic Color Ribbons. The RGB pack uses a CMB24D controller to power/control the ribbons. You do need to purchase a power supply to add power to the CMB board. The CCR's come with their own controller, a ribbon and power supply. If you buy 12, you would have 12 ribbons, 12 controllers and 12 power cords show up in the box. The ribbons in the RGB package can only show one color at a time. The CCR's can have multiple colors on the ribbon at the same time.

Don
Someone else will have to chime in here. I will admit not knowing off the top of my head where/how you would hook up 3rd party smart pixels to the LOR system.

Steven
but when i have 800 smart rgb light pixels already i only need to hook it up to a controller, how do i do that? Please tell us exactly what you have to get a better answer. I'm going to assume you have something like these: If you have 800 of those, then your best bet is a pixel controller, from either SanDevices or Joshua 1 Systems. You will also need 1 or more power supplies, to match the voltage of your pixels. The pixel controller will connect directly to the network card of the computer running your show.
