I hope Dan doesn't mind me doing this.....

Hello LOR/Facebook Users, you know my son battled cancer and passed away on July 3rd, as you know my Son has a charity called Michael's Meanies and I need you help! nothing to hard but I need you to open this link and vote for this women (Elizabeth) she is wanting to jump off the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia, and if she gets enough votes she can do it, plus her Charity is Michael's Meanies and Michael's charity could gain $1,000...If everybody votes at least once she could win, but you can vote every 24 hours. Thanks Paul Carroll

somebody actually removed my post in the facebook light-o-rama users group,  wow

so I guess its all about the lights and nothing more...lesson learned

so, I created my own facebook group called Light-O-Rama Family this is where people who are moved by the spirit of the season and their hobby and how it affects people and their neighborhoods can share what is a hobby to us, is a Christmas tradition to others

My son got me started in this, and I felt the LOR community was different but I learned that is not the case, but I believe there are many of us that our display goes beyond the controllers and it touches children and adults alike who doesn't know how it works, but enjoys the fruit of our labor, I know I posted about a charity that wants to help my sons dream and not about a pixel problem, and I thought that the group in Facebook was a good place to ask to help. because they would understand knowing my sons story

I know...I am venting,,,, I will stop now

Dan or LOR Mod, I am so sorry.... If I am out of bounds here,  just delete this post and i wouldn't argue if you did

I see nothing wrong with your post PMC. I have found some groups are more supporting then others. One group I was impressed with was www.diychristmas.org on their forum there is a prayer request tab,a joke of the day, and a grandma's recipe tab. It just depends on where you go. You and your sons charity are fine here to me. In fact if you have a Facebook link I will be more then happy to post it on my business/display Facebook wall tonight. For me my Christmas payoff are the smiles on children's faces watching my display. I fact yesterday while I was building some display elements in my driveway I overheard two children arguing on the adjacent school playground over whether or not I was truly Santa Claus. ( I look nothing like Santa ) Share on about your sons charity. When it's about kids, I'm all for it.
