razrbkchristmas
If you did purchase the license did you register the software? Did you download the drivers for usb adapter to computer? If you have already done these steps did your LOR software locate your controller?

dgrant
Assuming you bought the license, in the sequence editor, Play pulldown menu, check the "Control Lights"? Did you set up the hardware portion with your RS485/USB adapter to the whichever comm port? BTW, Welcome to our addiction! Hope it becomes as fun as most of us finds it to be. For me personally, its seeing the smiles of the grandchildren and neighborhood kids, all running around, enjoying the lights and music. Dennis Laff
When you buy a sequence you need to go to channel configuration and change the channels to match your controllers
dbltrukr1
In the PLAY dropdown menu click on CONTROL LIGHTS I believe it is.
dgrant
One other thing, you can't have both the SE and the HWU open at the same time. If the HWU configured the USB port, HWU is closed after. Control lights is checked and the channel configurations on each and every channel in the sequence, match what your controller is...then you should see lights. Example is The first light/Channel is probably something like: Tree 1 (whatever name you have)ColorDevice Type: Light-o-Rama ControllerNetwork: RegularUnit 1Circuit
Jim Hans
hi my name is bill brand new to lor. i have download a few sequences into sequence editor from the internet. my problem is that i can get the sequence to run and the music to run but none of my lights to come on. any advice would be greatly appreciated. All the other advice above is good, however, a quick suggestion for you and all newbies going forward... when posting a question or problem to the boards, please give as much information as you can. LOR software version, license level, type of controller, controller firmware, type of lights, etc. As we get into the busy time of the year time is a valuable thing and while the "veterans" try to help solve the problems playing 20 questions can really slow down the solution. And as we get closer to lights on a quick answer can be very helpful to you. Have a great season!!!!!!!!
