copotay
Has anyone seen or tried these: http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PSUFM835A-Speaker-Systems-Readers/dp/B00EM7C5BO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8 I have a small portable radio under our porch that is for the sound outside of a vehicle when tuned to my frequency. We live in the open country, not in a subdivision, and want to bump up the volume a bit for the display, wondering if anyone tried these

ItsMeBobO
no question those Polk are better than bose. But neither has a built in 400 watt amplifier. To OP there is a lot of hype in the product description and features. Those might do the job for a season or two. Dont expect too much.
copotay
Tks y'all, those Polk audio are cool, Polk has been around for a lot of years, but not in the budget for this year, and need the amp. Those Pyle that I was looking at are cheap and I'm sure not made to quality, I'm sure from China, but I will give them a try. I think I will set aside some money for next year for some upgraded stuff. I thought about using my 1200 watt Peavey PA system I play music with but don't want to leave it in the elements and don't want to drag it in every night, our humidity here is a killer even in winter. LORisAwesome
I use a small Pyle amp inside, but I have wired speakers outside. Most people listen on the FM radio in their car. The only people that hear the music from my speakers are probably myself and the neighbors. Jerry
