marsh28
I'm completely revamping my show this year and adding approx 3000 channels of pixels and led strips to go along with the floods I already have. Because I've heard the chinese 2811 strips have a tendency to fail due issues with water, I've been looking for a good way to seal my 2811 strips further. After looking at the AUS christmas lights forums, I think I've found a solution with 3/4 inch pex tubing. I simply put the strips inside the PEX and then seal both ends with end-caps and silicone. As a bonus, the PEX really diffuses the led light and gives a unique look. Here's a test I did with one 5 m pixel strip in PEX. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOnfQMAtFCs

jerrymac
If you are looking for a non defused look (like a CCR), you can get clear plastic square acrylic from US plastics. It comes in 6 foot lengths and fits strips perfectly. Kicker is that the cost is only .66 cents per foot. just cap the ends. ( http://www.usplastics.com/search/?q=square+acrylic+tubing&view=g ) If you want a defused look David at Holiday Coro has some with brackets for as low as 3.49 per meter. marsh28
3.49 a meter is an excellent price. I looked at those but didn't really have any way to mount that to my brick.
