kiplorenzo Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Hello peoples, I am wondering if anyone has purchased the following :http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/LT-DMX-1809-WS2811-DMX-Decoder-support-WS2811-TM1804-TM1809-TM1812-driving-IC-DC5V-24V-input/701799_583679340.html and had any luck with it controlling lights...I bought the following string from Ray http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/DC12V-font-b-WS2811-b-font-pixel-font-b-module-b-font-with-6pcs-5050-RGB/701799_580547587.html I soldered connectors on each end.. but when I connect the ends only 1 or 2 will light. I will be checking the connections.. Being these are just going into large driveway light fixtures and will be around 10 ft apart, I wanted to try to keep the 3prong DMX connections as these will be permanent year round lighting.
