xmaslightsnz
Well I finally got some RGB pixels to make a sign for fm frequency to be displayed at front gate, so bought 200 rgb pixels, got program to run lights, but my issue is I have no idea how to load sequence into program, it did come with a pre-loaded sequence, but unable to open it to see how it is done. I bought from china (cheapskate) anyone out there can give me hints and tips on how to program the rgb pixels

jlowe
What hardware is controlling the pixels? When you say you got program to run lights, what do you mean? Are you talking about LOR S3? You must have some hardware to translate the software instructions to the pixels.

jlowe
Just looking at it, but it seems like you have a couple options: 1. Use LEDedit and create a sequence that you save onto a sd card and have the hardware run it. 2. Looks like it has RS485 input and maybe some sort of communication protocol (DMX?) which might mean you could run it using software like S3. Outside of those wild guesses, I am not sure about this hardware.
xmaslightsnz
Yep I am going to use LEDedit to program lights, I havent got my head around on how to use it properly yet..It doesnt have a RS485 input, which is fine as i want it as a stand alone feature. Do you know if there are any free sequences out there for this? Thanks for your help
