plasmadrive
Finished my install in Canada last night.. LOR MP3/g3 Director running 2 San Devices eLORs (LOR to E1.131) running 2 J1Systems ECG-D2s (E1.31 to DMX x 4 universes remotely) running 8 Kiboworks MUTTs (DMX to DM412) running custom Kiboworks LED strips. Strips have gamma correction and I was able to do real nice long smooth fades. Total of 4 universes with 446 channels on each. I ran two universes on each of the two LOR networks from the Director due to bottle neck issues with everything wanted to change at one time. All this "stuff" had to fit in very small tight spaces (see the bottom of the sculptures) and run at -30C to 40C. All ran from one 120vac circuit. They are 18' tall..Thanks to all that helped and for the guys that worked me thru the troubles... I can't put the pics here so they are in my dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wc29dwx422rb3v0/AADjih7U1p_TV0SgLmybaFTEa

plasmadrive
Thanks Harrison Alien, the artist is Dan Corson out of Seattle. The manufacturer is Heavy Industries in Calgary. I like it - but what is it???Art sculptures. They are fiberglass and steel sculptures 18' tall with LEDs going down the internal spine on all for sides. They are at this pavilion in Edmonton Canada and are supposed to become a center piece for a housing development

grump010
I'm in Edmonton in August, can you tell me where this is located? Response via PM would be fine if you are unable to publish location in the forums.
plasmadrive
GPS doesn't have it yet.. so they gave me a map.. There is no physical address yet.. I went from the airport up HWY 2 and got off at Ellerslie then left over the hwy. then left on James Mowatt Trail.. then right on 41 then right on 141. They are building lots of houses out that way.. I don't remember the exact road I turned on from there but it was to the right and it was at the first houses on the right.. That will dead end about one block later into these sculptures.
