CCF Extension Cables

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Does anybody know if the 10watt flood extension cable on the light O Rama store works for the Cosmic Colour Flood's as well? I need to make a large extension cable for one of the floods want to check that this is the right cable as they don't seem to sell the CCF's anymore.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi, I have the 50w floods (8 of them). What works for them?

Considering they have their own controller built into them, you wouldn't need an extension cable from the controller to the flood.

Just run a longer cable between the controllers/floods like you would any other LOR controller.

Hi Don,

So, the floods connect to the CMB24D with the 4 colored wire, right. So, you're saying just grab some 4-wire cable and splice it together? Is that correct? Makes sense, but I just want to make sure it's actually that simple.

Thanks for your reply.

You said you have 8 of the 50 watt floods.

Those do not connect to any controller. They have their own. If you are connecting a 50watt flood to a CMB24D, then you don't have a 50 watt flood.

If you have the 10 watt flood

Then look for the 10 watt flood connector

You, sir, are correct. I do have the 10w flood, and the link you sent me is exactly what I needed. Thanks!!
