visualizer/demo questions

So I have watched a few tutorials on how to use the Visualizer, but am still unclear as how to put a sequence in. I am getting some pre-made sequences with audio that should be here within the next few days and I'm setting up my demo, but am not sure on how to get the sequence over to the demo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. More than likely, just a noob making a silly mistake. Thanks!!!

First you will need to know how you going to set the lights up in your yard. Then make your items on the visualization stage. Each prop you put in you will then make a fixture that matches your channel layout in the sequence editor . For example 5 mini trees. In the sequence editor its unit 1 outputs 1-5. You will then match that in the vusualizer fixture file.

Also once you buy you sequence you can copy and paste from that into your new channel layout

Until I actually get my sequences, I am using the visualizer and drawing out my lights/fixtures/props. I am labeling them as separate circuits for now, but I'm sure I will need to change them once I get my sequences. I suppose until I actually get the sequences, it is going to be a challenge for me to grasp some of the concepts as I am one who needs to see it to make sense of it. I will check back in on this post once I actually get my stuff. Thanks for the help.

As James was telling you, its not really difficult once you figure out the process. Basically you decide what circuits will control which strings and set up those units/channels in the sequencer. Such as minitrees 1-5, Unit 1, channels 1-5. Then in the visualizer, you create your fixtures/props for thos 5 minitrees and assign them to unit 1, channels 1-5. This way, the visualizer knows where to get the informatiom from. Back in the sequencer on the Play pulldown menu, check the box for "Control Visualizer". Then when you play the song/sequence in the sequence editor, the visualizer will run too. FYI, the visualizer will also run when the show player is running too at the end of the year when you are running the show for real.
